Navigating Stress with Compassion for Yourself and Others

Navigating Stress with Compassion for Yourself and Others

As we all know, life can get pretty stressful. We can feel overwhelmed by workload, or even be put on edge by nothing in particular (or everything in particular)

In my opinion, the days of highlight reels and faking constant happiness are on the way out. People are becoming more engaged by those showcasing humility and real life. It normalizes what we already know to be true – that we’re all just trying to figure it out.

It’s in times like these that we need to rediscover perspective, and, even in spite of all the current tension, look for something we can too often forget. Gentleness.

Towards your Clients.
Towards your Team.
Towards Yourself.

We can be our worst critics. We can bury ourselves with frustration and – here’s the big one – shame.

What is one thing you can do today to offer yourself a moment of Gentleness?
