15 Aug Navigating the Challenges of Growing into a Leadership Role
Whether we’re working our way up at a company, or we’re building out the team in our own business, there are times we need to “level-up” our role. We were once responsible for tasks. Now it’s people and process. We’re now in Leadership.
The people that are part of our peer “team” will change. More will be expected of us. And it should be as we grow. We’ll be watched more by the rest of the team. You’ll be making more important decisions.
Some will be Disliked.
Some will be Misunderstood.
None will make Everyone happy.
Humans can be messy. But if we take the opportunity to lead seriously, we can make a positive impact on someone’s life. And that’s an incredible honor.
